Bad-tasting medicine and evolution

If you are ever confronted by the choice between two otherwise equivalent antibacterial medications, choose the one that tastes bad. Fewer patients will have taken it (and some of them will have given up using it earlier), reducing the chance that drug-resistant bugs have had a chance to evolve.
